Ophir Tanz is the CEO and founder of GumGum, an artificial intelligence company with deep expertise in computer vision. Under his leadership, GumGum created the first and largest In-Image advertising platform, revolutionizing the industry.
Ophir’s was named one of Adweek’s “Young Influentials,” was featured on the cover of Entrepreneur Magazine and received the Siemer Summit Innovation in Advertising Award.
Prior to launching GumGum in 2008, Ophir was the CEO and co-founder of Mojungle.com, a mobile media-sharing platform that was sold to Shozu.com in 2007. Before this, Ophir co-founded and sold Fluidesign, an award-winning interactive and branding agency.
Ophir holds a B.S. and a M.S. from Carnegie Mellon University and currently lives in Los Angeles, CA.
Phil Schraeder is GumGum’s President and Chief Operating Officer and is responsible for overall management, sales, financial planning, management, controls and human resources. His 18 years of experience helped GumGum rise to be an industry leader in the computer vision and marketing spaces.
Phil was a finalist in the 2014 Los Angeles Business Journal CFO of the Year Award.
Prior to joining GumGum, he was VP of Finance at Verifi, Inc., a full-service provider of global electronic payment and risk management solutions, where he was responsible for financial operations and forecasting. Prior to joining Verifi, Phil oversaw accounting and reporting at RealD, Inc, a leading global licensor of 3D technologies, where he was heavily involved in the strategic acquisition of a key supplier, an equity raise of $50 million and the implementation of its ERP system. Prior to RealD, Phil spent four years at New Regency Entertainment where he was the Manager of Finance and was responsible for financial modeling and reporting on feature films.
Phil began his career at KPMG, LLP in Chicago after earning his Bachelor of Science in Accountancy with a minor in Communications from Northern Illinois University.
Ken Weiner is GumGum’s Chief Technology Officer. With over 15 years of experience in digital technology, Ken leads his engineering and product teams to build the leading computer vision platform for marketers.
Ken was LA Business Journal’s 2015 CTO of the Year and was included in the 2003 InfoWorld Top 100 for his open source project uPortal, the leading open source web portal framework for the higher education community that is still used by top universities today. He takes an active role in the ad tech industry and can be seen speaking at conferences and participating in advertising industry groups like IAB’s Open RTB Working Group and LA Ad Tech Meetups.
Prior to GumGum, Ken was the Director of Engineering at lead-generation platform LowerMyBills.com which was acquired by Experian in 2005. Prior to LowerMyBills, Ken was an open source software consultant, project manager, and instructor at Interactive Business Solutions (IBS) which was acquired by Unicon Inc. in 2003.
Ken received a Bachelor of Science from UCLA and currently lives in Los Angeles, CA. Away from the office, Ken enjoys mountain biking, hiking, California native plants, jazz music, and playing the saxophone.
Ben is the Chief Marketing Officer at GumGum, with responsibility for brand management, integrated marketing programs and corporate communications. He oversees the planning, execution and distribution of consistent industry-leading content marketing campaigns. Ben helped significantly raise GumGum’s profile as a leading voice in the computer vision and digital marketing spaces.
Ben is a guest columnist for top trade publications such as The Economist Marketing Unbound, MediaPost and CMO.com. He also regularly speaks at industry events such as AMA, OMMA and Contently.
Ben brings 15 years of experience in marketing, communications and also business development. Most recently, Ben was the Head of Marketing for Chango. He built the marketing organization and led the company all the way to the acquisition by Rubicon Project. Prior to GumGum, he held a variety of marketing leadership positions at GE where he established and led the global digital media practice.
Ben is a native from France and graduated from GE’s Experienced Commercial Leadership program after completing his MBA at McGill University. He lives in Venice Beach in California with his wife and son, and is an avid surfer and skateboarder.
Greg Pritchard is the SVP of International Development at GumGum. Under his leadership GumGum has expanded into EMEA and APAC, while launching strategic partnerships with agency holding groups, trading desks and premium publishers across these markets.
Greg joined GumGum in 2010 to lead publisher development, overseeing the strategy and launch of the industry's first In-Image advertising platform and its growth to 400 million unique users. Greg also lead the launch of GumGum's programmatic offering and Visual Intelligence technology.
Greg grew up in Minneapolis, MN and holds a B.A.in History from the University of Minnesota.
Brian is the SVP of Product at GumGum and brings more than 12 years of experience in digital advertising and enterprise software solutions. He is responsible for product development, product marketing, and strategy for GumGum's advertising, social and sports products, developing state-of-the-art computer vision based solutions for marketers.
Prior to GumGum, Brian was Director of Product Management at ReachLocal, an online advertising agency for SMBs, where he managed the launch of several display advertising solutions and was responsible for developing internal sales tools to drive efficiency and productivity across the sales organization. Brian started his career at Yahoo! in multiple functions across Finance, Account Management, and Product Marketing.
Brian holds a B.S. in Biomedical Engineering from Columbia University and currently lives in Los Angeles with his wife and son.
